What is BACSCAN F65 breathalyzer calibration?
Breathalyzer calibration (adjustment) is an advanced software configuration that ensures accurate and error-free measurements. It involves precise monitoring and adjustment of the sensor, which changes its properties during normal use. Periodic calibration is necessary for the proper functioning of a precise measuring device such as a breathalyzer.
What do we calibrate on?
We use state-of-the-art equipment called breathalyzer simulators to calibrate breathalyzers. Our laboratories house state-of-the-art equipment from the American company Guth Laboratories Inc. and the Canadian company Alcohol Countermeasure Systems (International) Inc.
Calibration reagents (ethanol standards)
Proper calibration of a breathalyzer requires highly accurate ethanol standards expressed in units (mg/L). The standards used in our service are periodically verified by the Central Office of Measures, ensuring that the service was performed professionally and reliably, taking into account all manufacturer procedures and metrological recommendations.
Adjustment (Calibration) Certificate
We document breathalyzer calibration (adjustment) with a Calibration Certificate. This document certifies that the calibration service was performed reliably and that the breathalyzer has been tested for accuracy. The document contains the most important data: breathalyzer model, serial number, calibration date, next calibration date, and calibration parameters. We also provide a 3-month warranty on the service.
How to send a breathalyzer for calibration?
- You must complete the CALIBRATION REGISTRATION FORM on the website. You will receive an SMS about your registration .
- It is possible to obtain a code for the parcel locker – YOU WILL RECEIVE AN SMS WITH THE CODE
- Pack and send the parcel together with the application to the following address: Pory Street 59, 02-757 Warsaw (NOTE: if you cannot print the notification, simply write down the RMA number obtained during registration on a piece of paper)
- We receive the parcel – YOU WILL RECEIVE AN SMS NOTIFICATION ABOUT THE RECEIPT OF THE PACKAGE
- We are starting the calibration – YOU WILL RECEIVE AN SMS NOTIFICATION
- We send you the parcel with the calibrated breathalyzer – YOU WILL RECEIVE AN SMS NOTIFICATION
NOTE: If it is necessary to contact us for an estimate of additional repairs, our employee will contact you to arrange further details or, if contact is not possible, an SMS message will be sent asking you to contact us.
